Camp Takodah Wedding Photos -- Janelle and Keith!

Janelle and Keith were married at St Bernard's Church in Keene, New Hampshire, with a reception to follow at Camp Takodah in Richmond, New Hampshire. The weather was one of those perfect summer days, that we New Englanders know happens about six times a year. The sky was that fantastic color blue and there was a light breeze to keep everyone somewhat cool.

Considering Janelle was a first time wedding planner, the details paired with the venue and the atmosphere couldn't have been done better by a professional. She hand made almost everything, and what wasn't hand made looked like it was. They hired only small time, local people, which I totally loved, and it made the whole day feel so much more 'down home comfort.'

I'll start my photo journey with you at the girls house, where surprisingly everyone was calm, cool and collected (that NEVER happens). The girls were all enjoying the morning, laughing, sipping cocktails, and getting ready for the big day!

Janelle's dress was absolutely gorgeous. I loved the lace, the buttons down the back and along her train, and fabulous crystal sash around the waist.

Janelle's maids were all wearing different cowgirl boots, and the bride's boots had little notes written from all her ladies, such a sweet keepsake!

Ah! Hand-written notes in flowers! So perfect!

My personal favorite part of the day... Janelle getting into her dress. The moment was so beautiful, mom and MOH helped her into the dress and you could feel how much pride and love they had for this gorgeous bride!

HOW cute are those socks! (And the garters were handmade by Keith's gram!)

I am pretty much obsessed with this shot, I love the soft lighting on Janelle's face, and the big mirror she's looking into! Gorgeous lady, absolutely gorgeous!

HISTORY LESSON! Janelle, Ashley, and I all went to high school together and cheered together for four awesome years. I've watched their friendship grow and turn into something that they are both so lucky to have in one another. These shots show how close (and how sweet) they really are!

The lovely bridesmaids!

How fantastic are these two black and whites?! Her skin looks like porcelain, she is just flawless!

Now over to the boys... My lovely second shooter, Amber, of Amber Brianne Photography was with the boys on this beautiful June morning. I love these little redneck details.. :)

I LOVE this one! Their expressions totally kill me! Boys and their guns...

And we're off to the church!

These three of Keith seeing Janelle for the first time are completely heart-melting. How sweet is he!

You may now kiss the bride, today and everyday, from now until forever :)

I was really nervous about this shot, because as my photog friends know, taking a photograph at noon is almost never good. Luckily we had just enough shade to keep everyone covered and looking good!

This big bridal party was so great! Everyone was laughing, having fun and enjoying the moment.

How fun are these ladies!

While the guys are just SO serious.

I don't know what it is about these two, but they make black and white look SO good.

The reception hall was so perfect. It couldn't have summed up the bride and groom more perfectly. From the floral arrangements and lights strung up romantically to the mini pinecones and shotgun shells scattered around the tables, the whole place looked impeccable.

A few of my favorite photographs from the reception: their first dance, their fantastic cake and, the cake feeding...

I loved the idea of the rings on the shotgun shells, and after it rained, I thought it was the perfect chance to get some water droplets in the background. PS: How amazing are her rings! You're a lucky wife!

You two and your perfect skin and your wonderfully blue eyes! You're going to make beautiful babies!

My favorite photo of the day... What's not to love?

Dancing photos means the night is almost over :(

Last but not least, this is for you Keith. They aren't exactly what you wanted, but I adore them!

Thank you again, Jell and Keith, you guys were such an awesome couple and I am so grateful that you chose me to share your special day with you! I wish you both nothing but the very best!

Till next time! XX
