Slash, the dog

I've been an avid dog obsesser for many years now, actually, let's just go ahead and call it my whole life. I've always had a dog in my home, and as most of you know Zeus is my child. I cry at the sight of puppies (because honestly, what is better than puppy breath?), I tried to adopt a big fluffy golden on a recent trip to Croatia, and the sled dogs in Alaska, got me to stand outside in negative degree weather not just one full day, but two.

While in Italy I often use Zeus as my model so that I can "stay fit" with my camera (I'll be sharing some great photos he is featured in next week) and the thought occured to me to gift this mini session to my aunt, Katie. She's pretty much the coolest, smartest, funniest, best aunt on this planet and let her house be my home away from home while I was in Boston (which is when I fell in love with Slash). He is truly the (second - only to Zeus) funniest dog and he has a wonderful personality. His obsession with balls is so crazy that he can't be left alone in the house with them incase they get stuck under the furnature... Which he will overturn to get his ball back... And he greets people when they come in the house.. By howl-barking at them until they give him attention (I howl-bark back and then he tells me how much he's missed me and he needs some cheese).

I hope his freckly nose brightens up your Monday and makes you go "awhhh".

When I asked Slashie to sit and pose for me, I got that...
Come on guys, let's go outside and play!
Look at how sweet his little doggie nose is!
Did someone say cheese? I'd love some cheese.
