A Lovely Day on the Farm :: Schreck Children

A couple weeks ago I spent a warm fall day on a super adorable farm in West Point with Christy and her three amazing, adorable, sweet, gorgeous children, Anna, Lucy and Owen. I'm not even slightly exaggerating when I say they were the most well behaved kids I've had the pleasure of photographing. No hard feelings my other moms. On top of that, they were basically tiny models all day and had the best attitude about being photographed for a couple of hours. I guess it probably helped that we had a very adventure filled afternoon - there were sunflower fields, cotton fields, a corn maze, pony rides, a petting zoo, a pumpkin patch AND a hayride.

I'm beyond grateful that Christy trusted me with her little nuggets of love for a whole afternoon. She shared with me that they used to do fall photo shoots with a friend every year until she moved away, so I felt slightly nervous that the tiny humans might not take to me... But, I can honestly say that Anna, Owen and Lucy have stolen a little piece of my heart -- and Lucy told me that she loved me, so I think I won this round. Thank you for your patience Christy, I know you've been dying to see the photos!

Hodgman Family :: Rindge, NH

I'm sure I've mentioned in previous posts how much I actually LOVE Janelle and Keith. We could trace it back to high school (yes, I've known them for that long) or the beginning of our photography relationship when they got engaged. Either way, they have become my original dream clients - meaning I've been there from their engagement through their wedding and first baby, to their second babe. They are amazing and I love them (all this is well documented, and you can dig through the blog should you desire to watch them grow as a fantastic couple).

Per usual when Janelle and I schedule a shoot together, it was freeeeeezing cold. Seriously, I've acclimated to Georgia weather quiet well, but this was cold, even for Keith. And that's saying something. Regardless, I had a great time laughing at Gunnar's typical boy personality and swooning over how sweet Colton was. Janelle and Keith were, as always, on their best model behavior.

Thank you guys for being amazing clients, and for trusting me to photograph your lives together. You are a beautiful couple inside and most definitely on the outside. Seriously though - FOUR sets of blue eyes?! How do you even top that?

Two Cuties :: Liam and Mason

Happy Monday my friends :) I'm a little behind on my blogging because I've been working so hard on my logo that I got distracted. Last week I literally spent an entire day at my desk trying to pick the perfect font to match the perfect flower. Hubs was all "you spent the day looking at fonts?" But in a very proud and loving way, of course. I'm so excited to share it, I almost shared a sneak peek, but I really want it to be perfect when y'all see it, so I'm holding out. On to the good stuff...

A few weeks back I spent the morning hanging with these two cuties - as I do often enough, since their mom is basically my bestie. This particular morning was a little more special, because we decided to do a mini shoot with the boys! Liam and Mason are probably the sweetest little babies on the planet, which I recognize I say a lot, but this is serious. Usually I don't get to know the kids I photograph very well, but these two are in my life on a weekly basis, so I know their personalities and I love them both to pieces. Kara does an ahhhmazing job raising them, being an army-wife-mom (also a triathlete training for a half ironman!) is tougher than you could imagine, especially with her guys schedule of 24 hours on, 24 hours off. Regardless, she is awesome and so are her boys. She is always doing these awesome things for everybody else in her life (including myself), so I wanted to give her some photos of her little buddies! Miss Kara, I hope you love the photos!
