Banx Bohn!

As most of you know, hubs and I just moved to the wonderful Columbus, Georgia - which I was very hesitant about. I hadn't heard too many promising things, and if you know me at all, you know that I was IN LOVE with Italy. Needless to say, I was unhappy. I tried to focus on the one positive thing I had going -- I could finally get my business running again (there are crazy laws in Italy about American spouses "working on the economy" AKA from home like I do, so my business kind of took a nosedive). Then we moved here and I got into this really awesome triathlon club and I met some wonderful people. I started using my camera again more often, I was able to go shopping and run errands at lunch time (basically all of Italy is closed from 12-3 for glorified nap time) and boom! I am so happy! It also helps that the temperature hasn't dropped below 65 since we've been here and I LOVE the warmth. 

So I kind of knew Jordan - our husbands worked together in Italy and I knew they had a son recently. Torin and I are walking through Target the other day and we walk right into Jordan, Banx and Bobby. It's always nice to know people (even if it is only a little) when you move so I was super excited when Jordan agreed to let me take some photos of this little cutie for my portfolio. We got to chatting and she is into running, and doing her first triathlon in a couple of weeks, which thrills me. Meanwhile Banx is running around their yard (with their awesome dog, Hans) totally enjoying himself and letting me capture all of these really adorable photos of him.
