Prom in Vicenza! Jahla & Bryce

Hi friends! It's been a while since I've blogged! I'll give you a quick rundown on the last few months. I went home to see my baby sister graduate college (I guess she's not such a baby anymore!) and spent a lovely three weeks visiting with family and friends. I was also able to squeeze in a few sessions and a wedding while I was home - those will be featured here soon! Since I've been back I've been working, and training - for those of you who don't know, I'm doing my first half Ironman triathlon in August. As it turns out training takes up a lot more time than I'd anticipated. Oh well! I love it!

Onto more important things. Like this adorable little cheerleader of mine.

I mean seriously. She's super cute. I was so excited when she asked me to capture some moments of her and her super handsome boyfriend before prom. Because let's be honest - who here wishes they had professional photos on prom day? I do. Most of my prom photos are from me. Dancing at prom. And I love to dance, so I'm sweaty. 

I met this wonderful young lady two years ago when I took over coaching cheerleading at Vicenza High School and her sassy personality and sweet heart won me over immediately. I try very hard to love all my kids equally - but Jahla was always making me laugh, working hard and not to mention she's a pretty fantastic cheerleader, so I'll admit she stole some spotlight. And, I mean, look at her, she's gorgeous.

I hope you had a fantastic time at prom, my love! You looked absolutely stunning. You will be missed so much by me! And know that I am always here if you need anything! Thank you for trusting me to capture this wonderful time in your life, now you will always have this happy memory to look back on. XO
